On the weekend of the 7^th-9^th August we had a 24 hour exercise at Longmoor.  The situation was that Thursley had declared war on Tilford, over oil, and we were drafted in to prevent war occurring.  We were divided into two flights, with a team of 4 manning camp, as headquarters.  The weekend comprised of a number of exercises, trying to find out information about the enemy, and later trying to penetrate huts that had been taken over, where a pilot had been taken hostage.  The nights were spent on sentry duty, and everyone returned very tired.

The weekend was really fun, and everyone is looking forward to the next fieldcraft exercise.  Thanks go to the staff for organising the weekend, and for their dramatic acting as enemy members.
