All the cadets at 261 are extremely lucky to have access to lots of sports, visits to camps, DofE, some really quite tough exercises besides guidance on organising oneself and those about you. Great stuff that will surely benefit them in so many ways wherever their life leads them.

Our son joined Air Cadets in September 2023, he had only turned 12 in July but was very keen to do so. His goal is to be a commercial air line pilot when he is older so joining the Air Cadets is a good start for him to set him on the right track to achieve his goal.
The experiences he has had while with the cadets have been great, so varied and active. Two evenings a week plus activities at weekends, days out during holidays they really do offer the cadets experiences they could not get anywhere else.
The staff and volunteers are very supportive and always happy to respond to any queries, always helpful. I know they give a lot of their time to the squadron and this dedication shows.
